Road trip

Thanksgiving is over for this year, and we took a long road trip. Houston - Chicago - and back, about 18 hours one way!
We have done it before, and it's actually OK. Lots to look at, but to much time spent in the car.
Knitted some socks on the way up, started these white socks, and almost finished them on my way back. Also knitted a purse in the car, but it's a Christmas present, so I can't show it one the blog.
However, we are very happy to be back home!

Such pretty tops to those white socks! Found you also on lonesome skein. Can you help me out with something? I have long repeated somthing I heard as a Norwegian saying..."there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes". Is this really a Norwegian saying? How do you say it in Norwegian? (phonetically?). Thanks!

I'm really inspired by those white socks. I'm in the middle of designing a pair of white socks for my little girl, who has uniform restrictions. Nice job, they look great!
