Life at the farm

...is great!
Especially if you are a cat...

Finding the best resting position
is an on going thing...

Between coffee and knitting brakes,
I have been painting windows...
second floor.

The windows, frames and glass,
are all original from the time the house was built
 in 1843 - 46, in Biedermeier style.
Windows and doors are placed symetric
to each other,

but take a close look at this side of the house.
and check out the the 2 lower right windows.
They are just painted on for looks,
but framed like the rest of the windows in the house.
I love it!

Time for another coffee and knit brake....

Oooooh tell us more!! What a gorgeous house! Really! It's a dreamy little place, isn't it? Is this a family home?

I love that there is always time for knitting. That lovely cat on its back is so cute.

For et vakkert sted - og det med vinduene var jo morsomt. Huset hadde sett så utrolig anderledes ut uten de påmalte vinduene.......

Love the farm house. That's a very interesting feature about the windows. I have to say I like it. I always like symmetry. Love the knitting, too. I can't wait to see the finished piece.
